Stayed here one night in a state room. Saw two other guests the whole time. Pretty sure it was haunted. We walked around on the deck and it really felt like we were going back in time with the deck chairs, the breeze, the views... and then we got to a room with teal carpet and, man, I am getting chills just writing this. You know that feeling you get when it seems like there's something watching you but there's actually nothing there? That. Yikes. We felt that and booked it back to our room (interior state room), shut the door, turned out the lights and it was BLACK. And completely silent but for an ominous drip from the sink. It was the first night I had moved to LA and I was thinking, 'oh neat, get to LA and then get haunted right back to the east coast!' But then I slept like a baby - best sleep in years - and realized that even if there were ghosts, who cares. Sleep great in a historical spot? I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Staying overnight on the Queen Mary has been on my bucket list for three decades, ever since I watched a documentary on America's most haunted places. I finally got the chance in 2019 and it didn't disappoint. The ship is so beautiful. We asked to stay in the old part - the haunted area - and were able to get one of those rooms. It was updated only so much, in order to preserve the feeling of going back in time. We took the late-night ghost tour and then walked all around the ship on our own. The only area we weren't able to see was the pool because it was being repaired. No ghost encounters for us that night but I'm so thrilled that I accomplished that bucket list item. I would definitely go back if given the chance. I'm from Vancouver, Canada.

No one there but the security guards and some workers maybe a couple of people just trying to have a good day just visiting the Queen Mary. The parking lot practically empty. I don't think they're having tours on the Queen Mary yet or they're not open to public.nBut I had a good bike ride going from here to there in Long Beach saying hi to people that I see or want to say hi.nStill a good place to visit.nNot much to do.nThe guard that was there knew some history that was good.nBut you should definitely go out there and stand there and take some pics and probably Google the history of the Queen Mary and the submarine. And when it opens again you should go it will be a good experience.nBeautiful day today ud83dudea2nI don't know if they're taking people from Long Beach to Catalina Island I don't know if they're open for business that is a good place to go visit as well a lots of History there. ud83cudfd6ufe0fnAlmost forgot shoreline village it's a must-see and the aquarium and I think they're giving boat tours as well.

We only stayed one night but have already booked to go back again for longer.nThis was a real step back on time so remember this if you’re expecting all mod cons.nThe staff were extremely helpful and service was great.nParking was no problem but a little pricey.nRooms were comfy but I expect they’d be really hot in the summer as the air con isn’t great.
