Asheville West KOA Holiday

Easy access to and from I-40. Sites, public restrooms, and office were exceptionally clean and the sites were easy to get any size rig in and out of! Highway noise was not an issue for us, and it quieted down around 9-10PM. GPS was a little funky every time we left the grounds, so a little tip for other guests leaving with your rig, turn LEFT onto Wiggins Rd, and then LEFT onto 74, and then access the I-40/gas stations from there. Everyone working in the office was so friendly and willing to help with any questions! We will be back if our travels ever bring us back down to the Asheville area!

Pleasant place to stay. Very close to I40, but lots of trees to buffer the noise. I barely noticed it. We spent a lot of time doing touristy stuff, so we didn't spend much time in the campground. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Only drawback is all the spots are gravel (mostly dirt) instead of paved. For the price you pay at a KOA, it would be nice to not have to step out into mud when you leave your rig.

This place is awesome! Besides being picturesque, clean, and having nice showers, the owners Heather and Ray were life savers! They helped us fix a water tank bracket that fell off on the way in. We got it repaired late Sat night so we could get going again early Sun morn. Great KOA! I highly recommend it!

Friendly and helpful staff. Extremely clean! Sites plenty big. 38 footer w/ master tow unit unhitched. Unhook car when you check in. We had a 40 foot site.

Very safe and clean campground experience! I treated myself to a cabin to make the rainy day less stressful and I'm so glad that I did. I'll definitely be back!
