I have stayed at several campgrounds over the last year and some of them have been really nice, However John and his staff Jay and Anna hands down are far and above the best I have experienced! I even screwed up my reservations and had a 2 day gap in my scheduled stay and they worked with me to find a spot and allow me to stay at their beautiful resort! My kids and I enjoyed fishing, mini golf and even a ride on the barrel train Saturday afternoon. This is now my top pick for staff and quality of resort! If you have kids or family and want a park that is easy to get into, clean and goes out of their way to make your experience a great one, book here! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Management was awesome Staff was Outstanding My Family and I Had a lovely stay, clean facility fun for the family train ride was so much fun I highly recommend this place. This past weekend is what My Family needed I’m very Thankful!!!!

My stay here at Placerville KOA was perfect for me. I wanted and needed to get my kids out of the house and away from the all devices. Thus was perfect. I chose a cabin for us to stay in. No devices at all. My kids experience new friends, feeding goats, miniature golf, train rides, and more. My daughter never thought about her tablet or TV. My son, well as long as we did something and did not stay at the cabin he was happy. He is 3 so I am pretty much running around playing. They kept him happy so this mama was happy. I loved that I could just wake up fresh in up and we where out for the day learning about something new about nature or what activities they had going on. This is a place to take your family to enjoy each other and neighbors. There are rules for covid but no one was rude and stuck up. We all did our part to enjoy each other's company and so our kids can play. Truly a great place.

Clean park, well organized at check in. So many super nice rigs parked here with some really friendly jobbers staying longer-term working a large project nearby. More critical aspect was the hook ups were not only 30a plug but also standard 110, too. My rig has the plug at the tail, so I had to park off the level spot and had to sore up one side to level out in order to make my cable fit. Only significant downfall here is the noise from the highway, I left twice, once for gas sans trailer, and once for breakfast stuff, and both times I saw CHP pulled someone over, so mind your actions, they're out in full force!
