Local accommodation on the low budget side, best bang for your buck. Scooter and three delicious meals a day included. The owner is super helpful and shows you around this beautiful island if you like. Next to surfing, we had the most local experience yet and even learned a good amount of Bahasa Indonesia. The bay of Alus-Alus sits in between several surf spots that offer a great variety for different levels with empty line ups. Crowd levels are 0-5 on the less known spots and 3-20 on the two main spots on good days.
