Jamburae Lodge Nias

Spent a night here during my stay at Nias, during Covid pandemy. However the experience were beyond expectation, Facilities are OK, typical surf camp that feels homey, but the hospitality were amazing. We bought some fishes from the market and they would love to help to grill it, with some beers and coke, that was perfect dinner you can have. They also have some contact with local surfing school if you want to learn surfing. Nice experience!

We had a one week wonderful stay and really wished we could stay longer ! The rooms are clean and modern with a brand new and well-maintained air con system. There is a nice roof-top terrace from where you can admire Sorake's main surf spot and its perfect rolling barrels. The food is absolutely delicious.nnBut what makes this place lovely before all is its committed host. Really friendly and always willing to help, he gave us a lot of surf tips during the first few days, and even accompanied us on a near beach break to have fun! We hope to see you soon Site!

Modern room with local touch. We stay in family room, which is fit for us with kids.nThe delicious breakfast was cooked by mr Sihite, the owner.nWe enjoy the hotel facility like swing bench, sandy backyard, and billiard table.nThe hotel interior is using wood from Coconut tree. I spent three lovely weeks here. Clean modern rooms, with new western bathrooms, air con, great views of the break and one of the best hosts in Nias! The Bintangs were ice cold and all the food was delicious. Site the host was very accommodating and went out of his way for his guests. He even paddled out with me on my first day to give me the low down of the break. Overall a great experience.

Perfect for surfers. View over the whole bay and surfspot ‚the point‘ from the terrace. Rooms and food are excellent and the owner very sympathetic and endeavored. After my stay for three weeks I‘m already looking forward to come back again.
