The signboard says services on Sunday 9am and 5pm. I was there to attend the 9am service but it turned out that there is only the 5pm service at this branch. The 9am service is held in a bigger branch several kilometres inland.

There are still services even though Covid is at a distance. The place is small so it's more familiar

GPIB Bethel Tanjung Pinang Church is also called the Chicken Church. This is because there are chickens on the church building.nnThis church is a historic church in Tanjung Pinang, even in the Riau Islands. In fact this church is the oldest church. The GPIB Bethel Tanjung Pinang Church was once a Portuguese heritage church when it occupied the city of Tanjung Pinang. Until the Portuguese era until now, the church building is still functioning for worship.
