Animals in small cages. At least, put them in a bigger space. I am shocked. If you use them for a profit, dont torture them. These animals are very, very sad. Pity for such a beautiful place.

From the moment you step into the boundaries of this beautiful property you are treated with utmost care and respect. I have been to so many countries ,but none matches with the behaviour of Indonesian people . They shower you with so much lovea and affection you will coming back for more .

We were taken to this coffee shop on a tour we had booked. I will begin by saying that although my husband and I are not coffee enthusiasts, we thoroughly enjoyed the coffee and the outstanding views of the forest below. However our experience was ruined by observing the Asian palm civet they had enclosed in a concrete small metal cage—alone and curled in a corner of the concrete enclosure. As part of a growing movement of Western animal activists it was painful to see the animal in these conditions and curled up helpless in the corner. No comfort or stimulating toys or items from their natural environment. Animals such as this Civet carry the same feelings of community, loneliness and pain as we do, so seeing this just broke our hearts as tourists. The man mentioned people want to see the animal behind Lusaka Coffee, but ultimately a picture wall with information would suffice rather than ruining an innocent life. Again the coffee was spectacular and I would have likely bought large quantities for all of my coffee consuming family members and friends back home, but it just didn’t feel right with my conscience.

Very friendly and informative staff. The coffee tasting was very interesting and the shop has their whole range in different sizes. The small packs make great gifts
