Members of the Kerapatan Indonesian Baptist Church (KGBI) in the North Sulawesi region are called to carry out the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ and the functions of the Church according to God's Word.nnEvery church is a community that comes together to worship God. The church is made up of all the family of God who come together for fellowship (koinonia in fellowship with all believers - whatever their condition - brothers, love and help each other for the realization of each other's development. All believers must be built in true faith. Through true study and the sacraments of the church, for the attainment of a common goal, namely to become conformed to Christ, the congregation must be equipped to live righteously and faithfully carry out its obligations, both to the church, fellow believers, and to duties outside the church. .nnThe exit function includes both the task of preaching the gospel (kerygma) and the task of social service (diaconia). The task of social service is a task under the task of preaching the gospel which cannot be separated from the task of preaching the gospel because the main task of the church is to evangelize the world, and not to improve the social welfare of society. Evangelism is an effort to preach the good news about Jesus Christ, who, through His death and resurrection, atoned for the sins of mankind, so that those who want to believe and accept Him as Lord and Savior can receive God's forgiveness and eternal life.
