Placed in the front yard of TIM, this area come to lively in the evening time. You could find many street food here, from just gorengan (fried snack) to a common meal such as nasi goreng and pecel ayam. Seating is a little bit complicated but you could just sit in the bench which the seller provide, or sit in the stairs/planter, or sit in the provided mat anywhere in the area. No worry about sitting too far since most of the seller will remember and deliver your order as long as you tell him/her where will you sit.nMy favorite stall here is nasi goreng (fried rice) between bubur ayam (chicken porridge) stall and sate padang stall.nnEdited: for foreign tourist, no need to worry also since most seller know very basic english and won't cheat you about price.

A gathering place for young people, in the courtyard outside the front gate of Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), Cikini, Central Jakarta. Usually crowded at night. There are foods that are sold in push carts, such as fried rice, fried noodles, satay madura, satay padang, ketoprak etc., there are also sellers of drinks such as coffee, sweet tea, mineral water etc. Easy to park on the roadside motorcycle. There is often live music performed by young music lovers. Safe enough to relax with friends. Sit cross-legged.
