very nice place to discover the stunning area. Simple but clean accommodation right on the beach. Very warm family, good food. I had a very nice stay there !!!

I had really great time in Sumba Surfing Homestay. It is really good value for money, since they charge you just 300.000 rupees, cheaper than the other surf camps in the area. The owners Ika and daniel are very friendly and willing to help you. Daniel can also rent you a few surfboards (3 shorts, 1 mini-malibu), scooters and will be happy to show you around (surf spots and not turisty traditional villages). The cook also prepares really good food (mostly for vegetarian since she uses lots of vegetables). Rooms are pretty small as you see in the pictures, but cosy. The location is just in front of the sea, kerewe wave. Some knowledge of bahasa indonesia can be helpful, as in the rest of Sumba.

Wonderful view from our bamboo hut watching the fullmoon coming up was wonderful ! You can also check the surf of thats your thing ! The hospitality and food have been awesome from Daniel and Coralina . Beautiful beach and locals very friendly !
