Nice place, the equipment not the best at all, but all easy to use, and one of the cheapest gym in jogja, even cheaper if you are become a member. You can also take private course here with trained instructor.

So. If you're new to Indonesia and reading this review because it's the closest gym the airport, then you need to massively tone down your expectations. HBP is a great gym, but it's nothing like the western experience, so expect something more dated and grimy than you normally go to.nnIf you can get over that, much like max or hardcore fitness in the centre of town, this gym has pretty much all the gear you'll need, except for really heavy dumbbells. Entrance fee is a very cheap 10K rp ($1) so don't expect beauty for that pricing. The gym has no air con and is sufficiently hot that you'll end up doing a sort of sweaty bikram yoga type workout. But if you can get over that the gym has everything. From leg press, squat machine, smith machine to incline, decline and regular presses to a collection of lat, row and back equipment. Like many of indo gyms it's all free weight plate based, and looks like Arby era 80s gear, but it world well enough.nThe owner speaks no English but is pleasant and friendly. You'll find the gym upstairs on the third floor above the HBP pharmacy. Now the gps gets the location wrong, this p leave is about 100m closer to the airport than shown.
