The temple next to the Jami 'Muntok Mosque, indicates that tolerance in the area is very high and maintained

The unique thing about this Klenteng location is that it is right next to the Jamik mosque which is an icon in Muntok. This symbolizes that two different ethnicities (Malay and Chinese) and two different religions can live side by side, as well as mutual tolerance. This is really Indonesia! Different but still one too.
