Based on the letter of the Regent of Bangka Number: 430/2480 / SETDA / SAB / 2019 dated May 23, 2019 regarding the Establishment of the Bangka Regency Cultural Museum, Bangka Regent, Mulkan, SH, MH approved the Juang Sungailiat Building to be the Bangka Regency Cultural Museum. It is expected that in the last month of 2019 the Education and Culture Office will prepare a ceremony for the inauguration of the Museum by the Regent of Bangka.nThis museum provides information on the history of the struggle of the people of Bangka since the era of the IV century Srivijaya kingdom, which was marked by the Kotakapur Inscription. Depati Amir's struggle and cultural development of Bangka became the main collection of this museum.nVisitors will also be introduced to the cultural values ​​of Bangka that have been and still are, until now, such as art tools, living equipment, belief systems, customs, and so on according to universal elements of culture.
