WAHANA FAST BOAT PADANG BAY

There was an issue with our ticket. We booked online but the tickets didn’t go through to these guys. They got on the phone and it all worked out. The ride was smooth. Sat up top & enjoyed the sun & loud music.

Boat consistently one hour late, both on the way to Gili and back.nOn the return the driver of Wahana didn’t bring me at my hotel saying nobody told him he needed to go to my hotel. But nobody actually asked me.nRude, had no issue for 3 weeks with lovely Balinese people apart from him.

This is bunch of tricksters! Don't use this company. They told us our shuttle from Sanur is included in the price (which was not cheap 120USD). Well it pick us 30 minutes late. Boat departed on time to Gili T. On our way back the boat was 1 hour late(I don't mind TBH) but the arrival! Wow. They gave us ticket for shuttle back to Daniel which should take 1h30min max. Well guess what! Stuff of wahana started to tell us that sanur will be 5th stop and the journey will take 4hours. I asked them about first stop. They suddenly pushed us to another employee which suddenly told us it's gonna take 5hours with different stops than which last one mentioned. Their final goal was obvious. You can take a taxi for special price 500k which was the price of 1/3 for the whole trip! You should stay away from this company at all costs. Never ever

We read all kinds of horror stories about the boat trip to and from the Gili Islands. So we looked for a proper company which we were willing to pay more. Through our driver we found this company and they promised us a new and safe boat. On the way to Gili this was pretty accurate, but on the way back we had to wait 1,5 hours without any communication, to be put on a stinking boat without the possibility to open any windows due to the rough sea. The water got into the boat, through the windows as well as through the luggage storage room. The office in Padangbai told us to send them a message one day before the desired departure date. Hours after we sent a message, we finally received a reply saying we would have to contact someone else. The office also told us the boat would depart from Gili Air every hour, only when we requested a departure time around 12, they told us only 3pm would be possible. Do yourself a favour and book somewhere else.

So when we booked we had to pay 100k extra for a pickup and drop to our hotel in Ubud. At the pickup the driver was 1 hour and 15 minutes too late. We already had paid for our return so we had to use this company again unfortunately. The staff is also very unfriendly and they will just throw with your luggage. On the way back the windows in the back were leaking water so I got wet. I couldn’t move to a different spot because the boat was full. When we returned in Padangbai the company told us we’ll be dropped at Ubud central instead of our hotel. I told him we already paid 100k for a pickup and drop. He told me the bus was too full to drop people at hotels. Now we’re in a taxi back home and we didn’t get any refund. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER
