Frankly speaking, this place is a bit overrated. People need to get clear information on the real struggle they encounter when trying to reach the top of the hill. Not to mention the narrow roads they have to conquer to get there. I saw the elderly & young couple with young children and babies who went up and finally gave up due to the misinformation they got. Yes, the sunrise is beautiful, if you're lucky. And the surrounding areas are equally stunning. But, they are only for the fit and strong enough to reach the very top.

Very cool view, the weather in the morning(like 4am-ish) is so fresh and cold like in the winter, recommended to come here on weekdays to avoid human traffic. Gotta drive on your own too mates ;)

Totally recommended to come! If you seeking for a beautiful sunrise in java island, this place is one of the best sunrise view and totally worth it! I recommend you to come on the summer season ( june july august) it has a really clear weather without any rain!. It has a stair to go on top, little bit tired but when you arrived at the top it pays you with the view!

It was amazing experience. If it is your first timer to Sikunir Highland, consider to take re-routing way via Dieng. My last experience was not so pleasant due to I went with Google Maps, it's got me fastest route, but the road was insane! It's climbed up to 45° narrow road. Not to mentioned there are nobody a long the way. Unless you are skillfull and experienced driver with top notch cars, consider to re-routing. Good luck

Awesome, you can enjoy morning sunrise in many different places with Sindoro Mountain as background, much people are camping around the lake before enjoying the sunrise with family, solid visitors at weekend. You can also buy many kind of souvenir and food, best visit after winter about April - July. Remember the trash please
