Sungai Betung State Elementary School is one of the smaller schools of less than 60 students, the foremost, outermost and disadvantaged areas.nnLocated in Sungai Tuba Hamlet, Amang Village, Ngabang District, Landak Regency, West Kalimantan.nnBefore 2005, the only access to the location of this school was walking, after the oil palm plantation company encroached the area, access to the road was open so that now it can use four-wheeled vehicles on dirt roads.nnThis school only has 3 local classrooms, but it has 6 classes, so that one classroom is divided into two classes and or alternately uses classrooms.nnThere are 4 teaching staff (teachers) teaching at this school, including 2 PNS teachers and 2 honorary teachers of the Landak Regional Government, with the division of tasks of 3 class teachers and 1 Christian teacher.nnIn the 2017/2018 school year, this school has 25 students.nnSeeing the condition of the teacher's official residence that was heavily damaged, it would be possible to get the attention of the government so that the official house was renovated so that it could be re-functioned.
