I am so pleased to see the North China restaurant still going. My family and I used to visit on many occasions whilst I and my sisters were growing up. Food always wonderful. Service superb. Sad to hear about Granddad though, such a treasure. Warm regards Maxine and the Hughes family (Yvonne, Harry and Kate) x

It was a nice meal but we sat for ages watching people around us who'd arrived later eat 2 courses whilst we were still waiting for our main. When the main came they brought out one, so they ate before it got cold and we were left waiting for ours. We ordered 2 items for another course but they forgot one item so it wasn't that enjoyable. There was no apology. For the price they charge, meals at a table should come out together and at least explain , don't say it's on its way and then go to the back and ask if we ordered it !!

Can't believe I haven't been here before. It's quite unassuming from the outside but really tasty dishes and decent portions. Think I found my fav local.

My partner and I ordered the menu B. It was amazing, a lot of food, varied and delicious. Service was also great. I definitely recommend the place.

I visited this restaurant having seen its ratings on google. I was pleased to find a ‘local style’ restaurant with All my favourite Chinese dishes but all done very well. The homemade noodles were clearly actually home made and an improvement on ones I’ve had elsewhere, sand with the Dumplings, the pork belly was freshly prepared rather than just reheated and very delicious for that.nA lot of pride and care has been taken In the food here and it makes a big difference for.nThe service was very good. Also the Covid precautions were in place and taken seriously by the staff.nA standout restaurant that deserves its long standing reputation.
