The Andalas University Chemistry Student Association or commonly called HIMKA UNAND, is an organization whose members are students of the Andalas University Chemistry Department, Padang. This organization was formed for the first time on the basis of kinship among chemistry students on April 8, 1966 with the first chairman, Prof. Dr. Hazli Nurdin, M.Sc.nnThis organization originally consisted of 7 fields, namely:n1. Field of Student Resource Development (PSDM)n2. Field of academic studiesn3. Areas of interest and talentn4. Funds and businessn5. Spiritualityn6. Sustainability sectorn7. Information and communication fieldsnnAnd in 2012, in accordance with the annual meeting which is usually called the Chemistry Student Conference (MMK) in November 2012, HIMKA formed one more field engaged in the social sector, namely the social sector, this field will continue to survive until the next period.
