I am really impressed with Dr.Gunawan. He is a general doctor, but he did a great job on the treatment for my digestion issues twice that are usual for white foreigners when living in Indonesia for the first time. I really appreciate that I can explain the situation in English to him, he is really friendly, gives great advice, and he is very knowledgeable such as after you take an antibiotic, he also gives you medicine to put good bacteria in your gut when you finish the medicine. From a U.S. perspective, the medicine price is really reasonable. If you have digestive issues and need treatment, expect to pay between $30-$50 for the consultation, examination and medicine (If you don't have any major symptoms or didn't wait too long to see the doctor). If it still doesn't work, they have both blood and stool testing in the clinic. I never had to get the testing done so I am not sure how much the test costs, but as long as you come to the clinic like usual when you have stomach or stool issues lasts for more than a week, I think its helpful to check in and get it treated just in case so they know and catch the situation early. Again, great clinic! I will certainly keep coming back. :)
