A family-run small hotel with great value of stay near Waikabubak. The place is very quiet and suitable for rest after a long day travelling in Sumba. In front of our room there is small garden, so you can rest your eyes by the green of the small. The owner is very nice, and always clean up our room!

Good value hotel in Waikabubak, just away from the main road (=quiet). Double rooms with fan and AC available. Clean and a nice garden. Can arrange.motorbike rental. Friendly owners.

We are staying here without knowing that is place is listed in Lonely Planet. It's a nice find. Meet Sumba's standard. Dina (the lady) is very lovely. They can help with transportation to other cities (please give them a tips/extra as the drivers are not giving them commission). I don't give 5 stars because WiFi and telephone line are down during my stay.

We arrived and looked for a nice place for a couple of days - Artha seemed the nicest to us in this price category. Great garden, friendly and honest family, big enough room with table and chair, simple bathroom The only downside was the internet... "broken" for the time being. The owner is mentioned in travel guides and is supposedly a great tour guide. - we unfortunately arranged with someone else beforehand.

simply friendly, hospitable, quiet and comfortable... fine bed, clean mendis (bucket shower)... fan... fair price... what else do you need?!
