The place is indeed used for large meetings or certain events. Widely used by city government relations or student events. The parking lot is rather narrow and usually forced to crowd one of the streets or aisles next to the rujab from the direction of Losari Beach.

Baruga Anging Mamiri is a hall building in the back of the Makassar mayor's office, this building is often used for some inauguration ceremonies, position handover, recitation, training, seminars or the like, on one side this room is designed to be used as a prayer room which can accommodate around 800 worshipers, on the second floor, is currently used as the Makassar city office.
