Historic, educational center, place of study. This place is a museum that became a historical journey of a volcano from the past to the present day. Many things can be learned from this place, all the information is presented with beautiful visuals, plus some sounds that make the atmosphere more lively. This place is one area with Ketep pass, so visitors in Ketep pass are free of charge to enter this place. In addition, in this place provided some special places to spot photos. Children are very interest with this place because of the beautiful visualization arrangements.

Fresh air. I recommend you to go here in the afternoon to get 2 mountain view (merapi and merbabu)

A theater showing movies and clips of volcano eruption and how it can happen. It is a good place to bring kids to teach them about the process of volcano eruption.

Good place to learn history of mount merapi, there are photos and props showing condition from past disaster..manager must check toilet condition, especially in holiday season, too bad.
