Olympiastadion Berlin

What a fantastic stadium I was lucky enough to visit as part of an England fixture v Germany. I was part of a British delegation of Police officer's that would liaise with Germany colleagues on crowd dynamics and 'risk' fans. Outstanding welcome by all concerned at the stadium and a pleasure to be allowed the opportunity to work behind the scenes.

The most beautiful stadium in the world!

For a stadium built in the 1930's this structure has stood the test of time very well. It does not look that old. It seems somehow more contemporary than stadiums built 20-30 years ago. Good to see it still be used and in good condition. I can imagine how exciting it is to be there when the place is full and a close-run contest is drawing to a close.

There's this piece of history; hate or love it; the building and the magnificent views from there can't be missed.nnCan't wait to enjoy those concerts that are performed here.nnDon't miss the ride into the statidum east entrance.
