S&L's Diner Bao Khanh

Fun little American style diner with strong Americana vibes. Only spot I’ve seen in Hanoi to do biscuits and gravy. Highly recommend if you’re missing or searching for a strong American diner feeling. A bit of warning, by necessity, the simulacra is a bit strong meaning the decor is not meant to betray a sense of authenticity, but inspiration for nostalgia. Staff are friendly and fun.

I felt like I was in America. Living in Hanoi, sometimes I crave my old comforts. I went all out and got the Cobb salad (my fave salad and with ranch!) and mozzarella wedges and mac n cheese. All of it was so good! Plus they have a happy hour with buy one get one appetizer and drink half off. We sat in this diner for hours and had a blast! Classic rock music, red vinyl booths. It’s tucked in seemingly underground so that day passes without realizing time exists. My favorite kind of place!nnIf you go for lunch they have a good combo deal with soda, salad, and choice of sandwich for 180k. Pictures is the buffalo chicken sandwich.

Not like before. The quality of food is going down accompanied with the service. Taking so long to order and the food is not as good as before! Finally, the lemon juice is really a waste since it costs VND50,000 which is too far expensive for a bad drink ever!

Tasty American food and big portion also. Reasonable price. Recommended!!!
