Expensive place, but there’s a professional cardiologist who really helped my husband to prescribe right medicines for high blood pressure.

Excellent and really helpful service plus only a short Grab ride out of central Hanoi, when I had to have a rabies booster prior to a trip abroad. The clinic was able to set an appointment for me on the following day, after I had emailed the times I was available. The reception area provides an English, as well as a Japanese speaking help desk, and the consulting rooms are as you’d expect well provisioned. I’ll definitely come back in the future for my Japanese encephalitis booster. Affordable rates, in my view.

I showed up with a broken wrist, after confirming my appointment and insurance information with them beforehand. The insurance provider sent over all of the required information and paperwork guaranteeing that they would cover the treatment, which is all that is required. Yet, due to unknown reasons (which seem to be race related), they decided that they wanted me to pay in advance and have the insurance company reimburse me instead of them (despite having a direct payment already established with my insurance). Not not only that, but the guarantee from the insurance company and my debit card payment weren’t enough, they demanded a credit card as well (which I don’t have due to the theft which caused the injury). In the end I had to take another taxi all the way across town, with my broken wrist, and get treated at a much better hospital. Their behavior is sad and unethical.

Went once and will never make that mistake again. I guess there was a reason people advised against coming here... I’ll be going to family medical practice next time... It’s sad that such a terrible experience has marred an otherwise great experience in Hanoi.
