Absolutely useless. The only thing this stop is good for is sequestering yourself underground for 40 minutes or so. The B and C trains move at a CRAWL and waiting in this made-over, refreshed station only serves to remind you that they replaced the turnstiles but not the actual trains, rails, or signals. Y'know, the important stuff??

This is probably the best subway station for access to Central Park. The entrance stairway is a little narrow and you need to be aware that the subway runs on multiple levels. Good place to catch a train downtown with a change at Times Square for just about any other line that is needed. Good introduction to subway for anyone who has not used it before.

Nice stop that allows you quick access to Central Park, probably about 2 blocks from Central Park.
