SMK Negeri 4 Gorontalo is a Vocational High School (SMK) which was established in 2004, SMK Negeri 4 Gorontalo is located on Jl. Madura, Pulubala Subdistrict, Kota Tengah District, Gorontalo City. Initially this Vocational School was a Small Vocational High School (SMK) that was attached to SMP Negeri 8 Gorontalo. Therefore, the Principal was concurrently held by the Head of Gorontalo 8 Public Middle School, Mr. Abram Badu, M.Pd. In 2006 SMK Negeri 4 Gorontalo became a new school that was independent and had a definitive Principal who was led by the New School Principal Mr. Abdurrahman Nusi, BA from 2006 to August 2010. Then on October 1, 2010 was replaced by Mrs. Farida Helingo, M.Pd. Initially, he had 2 expertise competencies, namely Kria Textile Design and Production and Kria Kayu Production Design. Over time SMK Negeri 4 Gorontalo now has 5 expertise competencies, namely Design and Production of Kria Texture, Design and Production of Wooden Kria, Computer and Network Engineering, Accounting and Garments. Then on April 1, 2014 Mrs. Farida Helingo, M.Pd replaced by Mr. Drs. Jakub A. Gue, who in the 2014-2015 academic year opened 4 Competency Competencies, namely Design and Production of Textile Kria, Design and Production of Wooden Kria, Computer and Network Engineering, and Accounting.nnThe tenure of the Principal is as follows:nn1.
