A different type of gudeg from the one you get in Jogjakarta. In Jepara, this warung sells gudeg for breakfast. Better come early to avoid disappointment.

A perfect place to taste local culinary heritage. Only open for breakfast time. The gudeg, kerecek, ayam suwir, telur pindang, etc.... All taste amazing! The price is cheap. Because this is actually a place for local people. Not a resto for tourist. Come bit early in the morning.

I love this place to get breakfast, cheap and tasty. They serves gudeg that has different taste with gudeg from Yogyakarta. If you have tried gudeg from Yogyakarta that has sweet taste and their main ingredient is jackfruit, gudeg suyek has different taste which is the taste more savory than sweet and their main ingredient is not jackfruit, like it's more simple than gudeg from Yogyakarta. I recommend it to be one of some places that you have to visit in Jepara. You have to try their food.
