Sand dunes in Bromo is the drop point of jeeps for visitor to make their way to the Bromo crater. Jeep are not allowed to cross in the sand. You can take a good photo with mount Bromo as background. However in rainy season, the fog can be high and the sands are damp. To get to Bromo crater, you can walk for about 5 KM or ride a horse. Round trip cost around 150,000. Better to get here first after sunrise, so that your climb to Mt. Bromo will not be so hot.
