Friendly and accommodating owner made the rental process easy. Also very reasonably priced compared to what the resorts charge. In my experience of renting and leasing cars from countless agencies in many different countries, there are some unusual things to take note of if you are used to renting cars overseas. 1) I was asked to drive one of the employees back to the car rental office after he dropped off the car at the resort. The location of the office was roughly 40 minutes away from my resort so it took me about 1.5 hours back-and-forth. I should also note that they picked up the car at the location I requested at no additional charge. 2) When the car was delivered to me, there was only around 15% fuel left. I was asked to refuel the car on the way back to the office. It cost me an additional 200,000+ IDR to refuel the car. That's extremely cheap considering it was about 30 litres of fuel. 3) This doesn't have anything to do with the car rental agency but has to do with Bintan Island itself. If you are used to driving in developed countries, you will be surprised at the overwhelming number of scooters and motorcycles. There isn't a whole lot of rules or signs for most of the roads. Traffic lights are sometimes ignored. There are also extremely few gas stations. Overall, the experience was pleasant and the quirks mentioned above is understandable considering the island's developmental stage. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a reliable service with excellent customer communication (I always got a response within 15-30 minutes regardless of the time).

Due to all the good reviews here, we have decided to chartered Aulia Rent and Travel for the first time. Riski has provided great service during our 2D trips to Bintan. He is a friendly guy, his price is reasonable, prompt response to our messages and calls. On our last day of 4hrs shopping, our hotel couldn’t accommodate to our timing, so we have called Riski for help and he has managed to arrange our last minute transport request to rush us to ferry terminal.
