Ria Bintan Golf Club

I visited on a “Stay and Play” package which offered “unlimited” golf. And it was truly unlimited — 5 rounds in a day and a half and could have played more if my body was willing.nnThe course is interesting, especially the feature holes by the water, and in very good condition. All of the staff are very helpful, courteous and professional.nnThe facilities are quite comfortable, although understand that there is not much else to do here besides golf. Getting here is quite convenient — a short ferry ride from Singapore and the Club will pick you up at the ferry terminal and shuttle you to the resort.nnAll in all, a great choice for the hard core golfer looking to get in a few rounds on either side of a trip to Singapore.

Asia's version of the Plantation Course Kapalua Maui Hawaii. Absolutely spectacular scenery, with elevation changes combining jungle and ocean for an amazing world class golf experience. Would rate 6 stars if Google would allow. Make sure you play the Ocean Course, which is the best 18 of the 27 here, with hole 9 a postcard par 3 hitting over the ocean, with breeze always in play. Hospitality was outstanding, making for a spectacular day. Can see why this has featured in the World's top 100 courses. Well done to all the Ria Bintan team!

Their attitude is terribly bad.nI never recommend all of you to book this Golf club.nnI canceled my reservation, then I asked them for the refund of play fee.nnThey accepted it and asked me to submit refund request form, so I mailed the original to them more than 1 month ago.nnBut even now, I haven’t received the refund yet...nSimply, I cannot understand why they need so long time.nnI asked PIC named Windi Marthina to know the situation, but she just told me that she couldn’t obtain the GM approval as he was on business trip.nnHow long has he been on business trip?? More than 1 month??nnI don’t want to say such a thing, but unfortunately I feel it’s a kind of fraud and crime for them not to refund my cash.nnI strongly hope that nobody will face this kind of trouble.

Enjoyed the course on a Tuesday afternoon. Well designed, beautiful, especially that 3 holes leading to the ocean. The putting green can be improved. Will be hard to find another similar course in Asia.
