This is a one stop government service to do your vehicle registration and tax. The place is pretty big, staff are very quick to do their job. But i think they are not too friendly, i think there is many of the customer doing the tax or registration by themselves for the first time, so i think it is better to help them with friendliness and smile. There is a photo copy stall available inside the area, alongside with a cafeteria, so you can grab a meal while waiting for your document to be processed.

Getting easier to aarange yearly or 5 years tax payment with online system and able to do cross district payment. Went to this place to renew my motorbike 5 year tax plus new registration plate. Need to ask a lot to officers the step what to do from registration till the end. Overall process was way better then 5 years ago (2014) when I renewed 5 years tax. Didn't see anymore middle man disturbing the process. Came early in the morning, by 10ish already finished all including new number plate. Need to improve on the parking inside, bit crowded for motorbike, can't realy imagine for car process, very tight space. Overall, So amaze and proud with all progress and improvement. Even though this is for Yogyakarta Municipal, since they already implemented online system, you can renew your license plate tax even you're coming from other district. As long as it's still in Yogyakarta Province. The service is simple and straightforward. Just bring your original ID and vehicle identification paper. Watch their business hours though. Especially on Saturdays. Highly recommended!
