Alhamdulillah, this is also one of the favorite mosques if I walk in the vicinity of Imogiri. Located in the pajimatan village, in the village before going up to the tomb of the king of the king of Jogja solo in Imogiri. The location is not on the side of the road. But it's easy to reach from the location of the king's tomb parking lot or the parking lot terminal. If you play Imogiri in the near of the mosque, if you go to the mosque in the afternoon, you will get the name angkringan, Pak Wi. Complete, wedang uwuh snacks in angkringan then don't forget to perform the Maghrib prayer in congregation at the ISITEKS mosque.

The mosque is quite large from the Jimatan terminal if you want to go to the King's Tomb via a small road in the North corner of the terminal and continue to the east for about 100 meters, see right there is a mosque building between the houses. If from the tomb after the motorbike parking near your stairway goes to the terminal after the small bridge immediately turns right, follow the road for several tens of meters, see left.

Do you know where the Sultan Agung Honyokrokusumo Mosque from Mataram is? If you don't know, we invite you to come to Kotagede, Yogyakarta, to be precise in the Pajimatan area, Imogiri District, Bantul Regency, about 17 km from Yogyakarta to the south. For this reason, the name of the mosque which was built in the 16th century was named the Pajimatan Mosque. It is not clear why the mosque was named that way. What is clear is that the name Pajimatan reminds us of a talisman or amulet. Maybe because the Javanese at that time were fond of things that were mystical.nnRegarding the presence of the mosque itself, it cannot be separated from the existence of the Imogiri Cemetery which is specially provided for the funeral of the king (sultan) and the royal family. Between the Imogiri Cemetery and the Pajimatar Mosque / Finya is approximately 500 m. However, because the Pajimatan Mosque is at the foot of the hill, the not-so-far distance makes you quite tired. The reason is, to get to the burial site, you have to climb (climb) up to 415 stairs. Why is it called more or less? Because according to the courtiers on duty, none of the visitors could count exactly how many steps were there.nnBack about the Pajimatan Mosque, it was deliberately built by Sultan Agung for the purposes of worship for the palace servants who served in the Ngayogyakarta Sultanate cemetery. To this day, the management of the mosque, such as the mosque takmir and Friday prayer preacher officers, are all determined and appointed by the sultan which is domiciled in the Keraton Siti Hinggil Ngayogyakarta.nnRegarding the physical structure of the building, it has undergone several renovations, but the impression of old age still looks strong. This is mainly represented by the pyramid-shaped roof of the main building of the mosque, without a dome, but instead a cupola is installed in the shape of a cananga flower made of copper. Meanwhile, in the outbuilding behind the main building, the roof is in the form of a pyramid. Perhaps, although it is located behind the main building, this additional building is more accurately called the mosque pavilion because it also functions as the entrance.nnIn addition to the roof and cupola, there are more historical remains, namely the ablution pool which is right at the door of the mosque's pavilion. In the past, before people were crowded like now, the pool did function as a place to take ablution water. However, now there is a place for ablution with a tap. Currently the function of the ablution pond has turned into a goldfish pond.
