Great place to stay in Ubud. Batu Empug is tucked away on a quiet street in the heart of Ubud. The location has dozens of interesting restaurants and warungs. Hotel staff are excellent. Very clean pool and very clean room. Recommended

We loved it! Beautiful spot with kind hospitality. It was a very comfortable and nice stay. The hotel staff is always ready to help and their prices for laundry and food are very reasonable.

I love this hotel and have stayed there over the past four years. The staff are AMAZING and any reviews to the contrary are simply wrong!nnThey will go out of their way to help you with absolutely anything and they truly want you to enjoy your stay.nnThe place is very clean, the pool is great and well maintained, as are the grounds as a whole.nnYou’d have a hard time finding a place nicer than this at this price.nnSure there are cheaper places to stay in ubud but you get what you pay for.nnI always try new places when I’m in ubud and most don’t compare to Batu Empug. Breakfast was so so.nnExperience (you might experience it):nFirst night, loud traditional music playing at night starting from 8pm heard until 1am, I cant sleep well due to the fact. Staff were friendly but not helpful in solving these issues.
