Kupu Kupu Barong Villas & Tree Spa by L'Occitane

Nice place but very scary at night as lizards and insects of huge size enters into the bathroom and sometimes bedroom too which looks very scary and makes tourists uncomfortable to spend night in the room!!nBut the Indian vegetarian food was awesome and delicious. We did enjoy the food to the fullest but leaving the breakfast as we do not get proper breakfast.nAnd also the butler service was surely good and responsible service from their side!!

The resort was a great place to unwind. Around 5 minutes away from downtown Ubud, I stayed here with family and everyone agrees the service was great. Stayed in one of the private pool family villas overlooking the rice paddies and the water rapids below. Overall great experience with butler service perks such as having massages (best massages in Bali IMO) and private meals + musicians arranged at your own villa was a very great experience - shuttle service provided for villa guests upon request on phone (24/7 service) - takes ~10 minutes to arrive to villa and ~3 minutes to go up winding road to main reception/services area)

I visited the hotel for lunch with a view. The restaurant is located just on the cliff looking at the river down below and the forest. It was a nice view added with nice breeze when I was there. The food was not cheap but you're paying for the view

Good property but bad treatments!

A fantastic experience of pure luxury in the middle of the jungle. The villas are a pampering experience per se, with a swimming pool, a beautiful terrace overviewing the river. Service is up to the 5 stars of the hotel, and it may be difficult at times to leave the villa to go visit the city !nThe spa by l'Occitane is located in a mango tree and offers a great moment of well-being.nWe spent a fabulous week there and will definitely come back !
