Museum of Brisbane

Great place to learn about the history of Brisbane and the significance of the clock tower. if you have time, make sure you so the clock tower tour and museum highlight tour. Online booking process is easy. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The exhibitions change every season. I'd recommend a visit if you haven't been here.

The art here is fantastic and always a great place to visit when in Brisbane. However, during a few of my visits I have been constantly followed by security which not only makes you feel very uncomfortable, but is really rude when there is no reason to be following someone. Very strange. Should allow people to have there own space and enjoy the museum rather then feeling like they on parole...just saying!

Free entry ..friendly helpful staff.. lovely little museum with a ton of info about brisbane.. definitely worth a visit.. make sure you take the guided tours on offer (free) ..clock tower is well worth the time..

While the visit is free, the actual museum is inside the city hall level 3. Therefore there isn’t much room for many exhibits. The clock tower tour (15mins) is fun. You get to take the old life and walk around the top of the clock tower and see the view. Overall, a pretty good experience.

We did the clock tower tour for this afternoon, such a fabulous experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, tour informative and with COVID restrictions there was only two on our tour.nnNote you will need to store even small bags in the locker, which is free.nnA strong recommendation from me!!!
