Baluran Park

Baluran National Park is located on the border of Situbondo and Banyuwangi. easy to access because it is located near the main road across the province. from the port of Ketapang approximately 1 hour 21 min (35.5 km) via Jl. Raya Pantura. The price is quite affordable, last I went there in May 2018 the price of an entrance ticket for a weekday 15. From the ticket purchase post to the Bekol savanna, the distance is about 3KM. because the road was still dirt when I was there, and again there were many large rocks on the road so it took more than 40 minutes to get to the Bekol savanna. I suggest that if you go there, use an offroad car or motorbike. When I went there on an automatic motorbike, I felt like crying, sorry for the motorbike. hehe. . but after arriving at the bekol savanna everything paid off, the view was like in Africa, there were lots of monkeys, black buffalo, deer and if you were lucky you could see a peacock showing off its feathers and a herd of bulls. and what must be remembered is not to feed the animals there, bring the trash back home, do not enter the savanna area without the management's permission. and you have to keep your bag or luggage so you don't get picked up by the monkeys .. in the Bekol savanna area there is a kind of tower of view, but because my time is limited there I don't have time to go up to the tower and decide to move to another destination. next time I really want to go back there again.
