Kemala Beach

It's a city beach and very easy to reach. Clean enough. The best time to visit is in the afternoon, while enjoying drinks and snacks from the cafe at the beach side.

Good destination which is near from Balikpapan City. You can swim here, find some cafe for kongkow. The water is quite clean, but you can find rubbish on the sand. Overall, it's a good place.

We came here when its already dark. Beach is relatively clean, not crowded (private ambience). Many choices for food, yet some restaurant has been closed. Taste not so impressive. Wild cat was annoying for me. Across the beach there were oil rig dan ships, yet we only see the lights. Overall its worth it to go here when its not dark.

You can see sea-vessel from the beach. Clean beach with white sand, a good place to relax. Located not far from the main road.
