the boat tour is definitely a must! the scenery is very nice, if you're lucky you can see some Bekantan hanging on a tree(or some crocs on the river). the tour takes about an hour long. i recommend to go around 5PM if you want to enjoy the sunset!

If you're looking for a place to enjoy nature on holiday you could visit this place. You can also rent a boat to go around the river and see bekantan who lives in the tree

It's a good place to visit when you're in Balikpapan. Around 30-45 minutes from town to Kariangau and you will arrive here. Take the boat and enjoy the view of mangrove river. Best time to visit at 5pm so you can get the sunset!
