hello guys, this time I want to talk about one of the mosques located in new koto. This mosque is an old mosque that has historical value. Its unique architecture, surrounded by fish ponds, and cool temperatures, causes this place to be crowded by tourists who are on their way to the city of Bukittinggi, or the younger generation who like to climb mountains after climbing Marapi mountain to release fatigue and prayers here . The water is clean and cool..is an attraction. There is also a historical building on the left side of the mosque ... that is a building that resembles a mini version of the gadang house, where there is a carving ornament that is unique to Minangkabau, and there is a tabuah in the Minang language or drum to call people to prayer at any time or in the percussion. at Eid al-Fitr or Eid al-Adha. Over time, the function of this tabuah, no longer works ... and this building seemed to be left alone. Unfortunately also siih, the building that has aesthetic value is left, and there is no percussion, only the rest of the existing percussion place. It would be wonderful if this building was repaired, because it became an attraction when people passed this mosque ... because it is located right on the edge of the Bukittinggi Padang highway. Hopefully this will be of concern and not lost its historical value eroded by time.
