The first time I took a deep look to Multatuli persona. The museum curator is insightful and the museum concept is superb

Kudos to the museum and the local govt of Lebak/Rangkasbitung. They really good in managing the historical value of Multatuli (Eduard Douwes Dekker). Museum is small but excellent in keeping the memories. Teachers and families must visit this place with the children, remind them about the anticolonization movement in Indonesia by a Dutch man. For the management of the museum, keep on improving. Well done

Unexpectedly a very good, history-rich museum with brilliant visual displays for millenial visitor about Eduard Douwes Dekker/Multatuli, the Cultuurstelsel, and Ethic Politics. Small but very substantive museum with free entry, you only need to fill in the logbook.

Free entry. Open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. There's a library too and it's so cozy.
