Banten Province Library and Archives Agency was formed on the basis of Banten Province Regional Regulation No. 4 of 2008 concerning the formation of the organization and work procedures of the Banten Provincial Technical Institution. Originally this agency was named Banten Province Regional Library Office which was an institution regulated by Banten Provincial Regulation No. 33 of 2003 as a provider of written, printed and recorded library collection materials as well as a center of information resources regulated according to standardized systems and rules and utilized for education, research, information dissemination. Support for the availability of quality human resources in managing an organization or institution so that it can run optimally is very necessary. The success of achieving organizational performance will be largely determined by the performance of human resources in carrying out their respective duties and functions.nAs one of the working tools of the Banten Provincial Government, the Library and Regional Archives Agency is supported by a number of personnel or employees who carry out the duties and functions as stated in Banten Province Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2012 concerning the Establishment of Banten Province Regional Organizations .nIn carrying out its duties and functions, Banten Province Regional Library and Archives Agency in 2013 the total number of employees within the Banten Province Regional Library and Archives Agency.
