It is far from the center of Ubud and the hotel offers only a one time transfer free to reach the center. On the way back you have to do yourself. Prices are in dollars like excursions and late check out $ 25. Clean pool. The upper room was very large, with paintings that were horrors to my taste. Normal breakfast. Only one thing that makes this place magical is the museum inside with paintings, diamonds, gold of Indonesia, private collection of the owner.This place is ideal for those who want to rest and the room price was not cheap because in Jimbaran in a four stars cost half with free roundtrip transfers and buffet breakfast but in Ubud things change ...

Best museum in the whole of Indonesia,for shure, with an inspiring art collector for 50 years,who will make his dreams come true, reviving the turbulent life of Danish entrepreneur in Asia during first half of 19th century. Amazone and Awesome.

Booked this hotel through booking.com for middle of April. Traveling was cancelled in March due to covid, while ahead. I received an email saying that cancelation for this hotel is free, however I still have been charged more than £100 with no reason (discovered it later). No luck of resolving it via booking.com. No luck to contact.nAlthough I liked the hotel and really wanted to stay there for several day, I think this behaviour is inappropriate. Everyone were in the same boat this year with not being able to travel, work, losing money and etc. If cancelation is free of charge, why would you charge? Won’t go and stay there if I get another chance to travel to Bali. This is appalling.

Gorgeous Hotel! One of the best view on the jungles from own pool! The staff are very friendly and know English very well. Would be glad to stay here one more time! Totally recommend.

Fabulous place to stay, the Mads Lange villa is to die for. Peter the owner is a wonderful guy and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Shuttle into Ubud is really useful too.
