Victoria City Hall

There's some excellent employees at City Hall; however, the state of the city is a vivid example of mismanagement. As such, I am giving a low rating. As both a tax-paying resident and business owner in the Downtown core, this level of service is significantly lacking.

It has a beautiful architecture but not a very well-organized place when it comees to issuing licenses.

Beautiful building in Victoria downtown. I can’t believe that this is government place. Romantic architecture!

I’ve grown up in this city but it’s become a disgrace and a shame, with particular shame for City Hall Staff.nnDo you have a messed up downtown Victoria story too?nSharing that I am boycotting downtown Victoria.nI was in a parkade in the dark by myself, turned the corner to find myself within a meter of a man with a foot long dagger held straight up in the air. Ran away and found Security but they didn’t confiscate his weapon.nWitnessed a bike being stolen and had to turn and hide because the man noticed me noticing him and I was afraid he’d come after me.nMy female friend was chased and threatened for blocks by a man having a meltdown.nWhen I called about a parking ticket review and explained I always pay for parking (and tickets) the “service” rep suggested I must’ve been lying and cut me off. Was very rude and unprofessional.nI’ve found needles in the parks and even saw a man with his lower half exposed and doing things to himself across from South Park elementary school.nI’ve had enough. My thoughts with the business owners but I can’t go there anymore.
