This camp mostly has people from Scandinavian. It really sucked from me not being able to connect with anyone because they only spoke in their language.nIf you’re from outside of Scandinavian I would not recommend going there :(

You really can't go wrong with Lapoint Surf Camp in Bali. They crew is amazing, the food delicious, the premise stylish and always clean and most importantly the people in the camp are really chill. I also liked the fact that everyone was asked to speak English in the camp. Really provides an inclusive vibe where everyone feels welcomed. I'll come back and so should you!

I'm so much excited about the way the guys are teaching here at Rip Curl Surf School Bali (Legian Beach) so much knowledge and attention to everyone! Our group is around 25-30 people but I don't feel abandoned. Every time I get a feedback, it's so amazing!!!!!!!!nnEven if I can't do smth well, the guys always cheer me up and remind me the most important is to be happy :)nnThey're providing all the equipment for surfing (including the t-shirts, leggings and helmets) bottles with water, sun cream, showers afters and even towels for the shower (not for beach). Also there is a photographer and you can check all your pix after the lesson to improve your skills (check the mistakes) and to have fun.nnIf you are a totally beginner or just surfed 1-2 times - highly recommended ud83dude01ud83dudc4d

I had really great time in Canggu, the stuff was super helpful, they were able to sort out any issue bigger and smaller. Cool and laid back atmosphere, good quality of food and installations and general experience was absolutely amazing! Highly recommended surf trip!

This camp is a closed group of scandinavian people that have severe trouble to teach surfing properly and to host other nationalities other than theirs. Plus the surf instructors are outsourced and that is not shown on the website - it is way much cheaper to hire their services directly instead of through the camp.
