Angel of the Winds is a great spot for spacious gambling, and always hear them announcing jackpots just won. Payouts are above average from my experience. They have two great places to eat. You can eat on any budget. The staff are always very friendly. Its worth the trip to go visit this place. And the motel has nice rooms at good prices. Its a 4 star resort, at least. Hitting a $35K Progressive Jackpot was awesome too. Good luck!

******CAUTION****MUST READ*******nnConcerning all guests past, present or future please be aware that the tablets in-room do more than just order food and give work orders to housekeeping. They also have the ability to monitor your every move during your stay. They are set up on the bed side table with the perfect vantage point to observe the entire room. The cameras that are on these tablets are active and in working condition. They work very well actually. When they specifically state that the cameras are DISABLED for hotel and guest use. But they are far from disabled. I have video and many pictures of myself using the tablets camera no problem. So how is it they are disabled? Why do they even have cameras on them inside a private hotel to begun with? Would anyone from angels of the winds resort care to explain why the cameras work on the tablets they have I every single room? Maybe Brian L. Maupin the director of security may have a few words concerning this matter? Since it's disabled for hotel and guests does that not include casino or security? Someone please explain why such a breach in guests privacy?

I understand the want to be smoke free. But doing a little more for the people that do chose to smoke. The outside is a great little area but the heaters are so high that you only get the top of your head if you are short. Maybe one that are lower. As well the corral makes you feel like we are wild animals in cages. Just saying. We use to come 2 times a week now maybe once or twice a month.

Its nice to have the Casino non smoking. There didn't seem to be as many players on the floor on a Football Sunday.nFamily and I played in the bowling area. The bowling lanes are extraordinary. I reserved a lane for a party of 8.nThere is a comfortable Lounge for EACH lane. Very open room. The game was playing on the big screen behind the bowling.n100% recommend if you do like playing!!nI stayed the night in there hotel.nThe rooms are nice. The room I stayed in had a mini fridge. The shower is WIDE.nThe beds were actually very comfortable for being a hotel.

My family and I have been attending this casino ever since it first opened, it was once one of our favorite casinos. Over the years I have watched it grow in what it has become, it has lost much of it's charm and neighborly feel. Angel Of The Winds Casino now attracts a negative element. While I understand that the staff isn't at fault for the criminal activity something must be said about how they handle their regular guest. 16 years is a long time for a company in the hospitality industry to not maintain a relationship with your guest. There are lots of casinos along I-5, sadly this is no longer one that I would recommend.nnIt is great that Angel Of The Winds added bowling, a gaming suite, and a hotel; but impeccable customer service is what used to bring us too this casino.
