Tugu Laying the First Stone of Palangkaraya City as the Capital of Central Kalimantan Province was inaugurated by the first Indonesian President Ir. Soekarno. Strategic location in the Kahayan River adjacent to the Pasuk Kameluh Recreation Park and Kahayan Bridge. This monument is the pride of the people of Palangkaraya because it was proposed as a monument to the approval of President Soekarno to make Palangkaraya the capital of the Republic of Indonesia
