Theres a long big eel called morea. Water so clear and cold. Love this place

A 90-minute drive from the city of Ambon along the Leihitu peninsula. The giant eels are found swarming in a small river. The local guide would bring some fresh fish to atract the eels to the riverbank. And when I said giant, it is giant. One of the big ones are as large as an adult's thigh.

Very clean river bed with a lot of wild Moreas (Sidat Fish/some kind of Eel) will come to surface if baited with fish guts.nNot very tourist friendly in term of location bc it's in the back of local houses, but the river itself is superb.
