Damian Hospital is a special service place for people with leprosy / leprosy. Founded in 1966 in Lewoleba - Lembata - NTT and has healed thousands of sufferers. Because it was the only hospital at that time in eastern Indonesia, the patients treated here were not only in the NTT province but also from NTB, Maluku, Sulawesi and even Kalimantan. Managed by sisters from the CB Congregation (Carolus Boromeus) both inpatient and outpatient. At present the hospital also serves general patients.
