Excellent place to stay and eat

Firstly, Luka the owner is an awesome person who has travelled alot in his time. Hes a hard worker and is very attentive. The staff are also amazing. Luka makes the best home made pasta and gnocchi in his restaurant and the prices are ok too! We went back here to est more of his pesto pasta. The rooms are nice too and hes currently repainting one of them. Breakfast is served from 8am. For outsiders, lunch is served from 12pm and the restaurant is open until 10pm. The beach huts are right on the beach with great views. The purple bungalow has the best view. You can also hire motorbikes from Luka, but book in adavance. We had a lovely time here and would recommend Bixio to stay and to eat. We rented the motorbike and visited the Lake, waterfall, Kilometer 0 and sunset view point as well as cruising around the north and south parts of the island.

Everyone hears rumors of a good Italian place on the island, and this is it. Eva, the owner, is married to an Italian man, so she makes fresh gnochi and noodles every day. The sauces are good too. Relax in the shade, or swing in a hammock, and afterwards, go for a swim or do some snorkeling in the bay just beyond the restaurant. Overall, this place is as good as advertised.
